Case Study

How we approached our first project.

A closer look at the thinking behind our fitness studio project — the challenge, the approach, and what came out of it.

The client, a fitness studio, came to Driftcraft needing a stronger, more consistent online presence — one that reflected the quality of their in-person business.

/ Client Challenge

A presence that was disconnected.

The studio's existing online presence was disconnected — a website that didn't reflect the current brand, no consistent visual identity, and social channels that weren't set up to support the business.

Where it fell short
  • Website out of sync with the current brand
  • No consistent visual identity
  • Social channels not set up to support the business

There was no clear starting point for people discovering the studio online.

/ Objectives

What we set out to achieve.

Four goals, agreed on up front — each one mapped to a piece of the project.

01

Build a website that clearly represented the studio and its services

02

Develop a brand identity that could be applied consistently across the website and social channels

03

Lay an SEO foundation to support future visibility

04

Set up social media channels aligned with the new brand

/ Our Solution

One project, not three hand-offs.

Rather than treating the website, branding, and social setup as separate tasks, we approached them as one project.

Brand identity was defined first, so every other piece — the website design, the social channel setup, even on-page SEO elements — could be built around a single, consistent look and message.

/ Process

How it unfolded.

Five stages, in order — the same shape every project at Driftcraft follows.

01

Discover

Understood the studio’s positioning, services, and target members.

02

Research

Looked at how similar fitness businesses present themselves online, and where the studio’s current presence fell short.

03

Strategy

Defined the brand direction first, then planned the website and social setup around it.

04

Execution

Built the website, applied the brand identity, implemented core SEO fundamentals, and set up social media channels.

05

Optimization

Ongoing — as the first completed project, we’re monitoring performance going forward rather than reporting on it retroactively.

/ Technologies Used

The stack behind the project — nothing unusual, just tools that fit the job.

/ Outcome

From disconnected to unified.

The studio moved from a disconnected online presence to one unified identity — a professional website, a consistent brand look, an SEO foundation in place, and active social channels, all working together.

We're not attaching invented numbers to this outcome. As our first project, we're being upfront that measurable results are still being tracked over time.

/ Key Learnings
This project reinforced the value of building brand identity before the website and social setup, rather than after.

It kept every piece consistent from the start, instead of retrofitting a look onto separate channels later.
